課程概述 |
This course will (1) provide an overview of these new approaches; (2) develop your problem solving skills to address specific aspects of gene expression regulation and strategies for defining gene functions; and (3) inform you of the applications of these new technologies in life science and medical researches. |
課程目標 |
The recent accomplishment in sequencing the genomes of human, Arabidopsis, rice, Drosophila, yeast and many other microorganisms has provided an unprecedented opportunity to study the molecular mechanisms of cell differentiation and organism development. The overall aim of the course is to equip students with a solid foundation in new approaches that integrate genetics, molecular biology, physics, mathematics and computer science to answer biological questions in novel ways. |
